The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) released its report on the Ways and Means Committee Tax Reform Working Groups. Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Congressman John B. Larson (D-CT), leaders of the Tax Reform Working Group on Financial Services, released the following statement:

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) today issued the following statement after voting in favor of the H.Con.Res. 25, the House Republican Budget and H.R. 933, which funds the government for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2013:

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) will hold an open house at his Grand Island office on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 to meet with veterans, current members of the military, and their families.

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Congressman Mike McIntyre (D-NC) will serve as co-chairmen of the bipartisan Congressional Rural Caucus for the 113^th Congress.

“Rural Americans need a strong voice in Congress to represent their interests, regardless of party or geography,” said Smith. “I look forward to continuing to serve as a co-chairman of the Congressional Rural Caucus, and am excited Congressman McIntyre will be working with me to raise awareness of and address the shared challenges of rural communities.”
