During his remarks, Smith highlighted the theater’s significance to Scottsbluff and surrounding communities while recognizing the countless number of volunteers who have made the theater a place to gather for the past eight decades.

Today, Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE-03), chair of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade, led a bipartisan letter with his Agriculture Trade Caucus co-chairs U.S. Representatives Jim Costa (D-CA-21), Dusty Johnson (R-SD-AL), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-19), and 13 of their colleagues urging the Trump Administration to address Mexico’s burdensome non-tariff barriers affecting U.S. grain exports during the ongoing review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03), Chair of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade, led a letter with 19 of his Republican colleagues to U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, urging them to hold Mexico accountable ahead of the six-year joint review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03) announced the top five finishers of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Nebraska's Third District. The first-place finisher’s artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol alongside other Congressional Art Competition winners from across the country. The four remaining finishers will have their art displayed in Smith's Washington, D.C., Grand Island, Scottsbluff, and Nebraska City offices.
