Press Releases
To my colleagues in Congress, I urge you to stand with America’s consumers, America’s farmers, and America’s energy future by making nationwide, year-round E15 a reality. Together, we can finally deliver the certainty, affordability, and energy independence the American people deserve.
Today, U.S. Senators Deb Fischer (R-NE) and Pete Ricketts (R-NE), and U.S. Representatives Mike Flood (NE-01), Don Bacon (NE-02), and Adrian Smith (NE-03) sent a letter to President Donald Trump supporting Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen’s request for a major disaster declaration following wildfires across the state.
Read the letter below:
Dear Mr. President:
This week, Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03) took to the House Floor to pay tribute to Robert “Bob” Busch, charter board member of Western Sugar Cooperative.
Today, U.S. Representatives Adrian Smith (R-NE-03) and Doris Matsui (D-CA-07) introduced the PI Post Acute Access Act to expand access to life-saving care for individuals with primary immunodeficiencies (PI). Their bipartisan legislation would create a dedicated payment within Medicare for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) to provide intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatments onsite. This would prevent dangerous treatment delays, reduce avoidable hospitalizations, and ensure vulnerable patients get the care they need when and where they need it.
Today, Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03) led his colleagues in introducing the Trump Accounts for All Generations Act to permanently extend the Trump Accounts contribution pilot program, created by the Working Families Tax Cuts, which is set to expire at the end of 2028. Smith’s legislation would ensure that every future American newborn can receive the $1,000 investment when opening a Trump Account while also indexing the $1,000 investment to inflation beginning in 2029.
Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03) announced today that his staff will host a caseworker-in-your-community event for constituents in Hamilton and Polk Counties on Thursday, April 16, 2026. This event is an opportunity for constituents to meet directly with one of Smith’s congressional caseworkers, who may be able to assist those with disaster recovery concerns as well as with federal agencies such as the USDA, FEMA, VA, Social Security, Medicare, USCIS, or the IRS.
