Internships

A congressional internship provides the exciting opportunity to experience firsthand the functions of a congressional office and the legislative process. Internships in my office can provide college credit, if applicable.

Washington, D.C.

In the Washington, D.C. office, interns will assist with constituent services, communications, administrative tasks, and legislative research. Interns will have the opportunity to gain further understanding of the legislative process by attending congressional hearings and policy briefings.

Nebraska Offices (Grand Island & Scottsbluff)

In the Nebraska offices, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the office’s outreach with residents of Nebraska’s Third Congressional District through constituent services, administrative tasks, writing letters, and assisting with media clips. Interns may also assist with constituent casework, which includes interacting with federal agencies.
