Washington, D.C.– Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) announced mobile office hours for the month of May. At mobile offices, Third District residents can meet directly with one of Smith’s staff members about federal issues and take advantage of the services available through his office.
Smith, who has offices in Grand Island and Scottsbluff, will provide his mobile office and a staff member at the following times and locations:

“Medicare’s 96 hour rule requires physicians to certify at the time of admission their intent to discharge or transfer the patient to another hospital within four days. This arbitrary requirement risks depriving patients in rural areas like much of Nebraska’s Third District of the critical care necessary to save lives.
