Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) today announced his office will host an interactive training for constituents interested in volunteering to record veterans' stories for the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress. Nebraskans of all ages are encouraged to attend to learn how to interview veterans in their communities.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) released the following statement regarding EPA's Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) hearing today:

"The EPA's RFS policy has been wildly inconsistent. This policy is the latest example of the EPA failing to effectively implement promises the President has made to farmers, refiners, and consumers. Administrator Wheeler must follow the law when it comes to the RFS. All those affected by the EPA's actions should use the public comment period to make their voice heard."

Washington, D.C. – Constituents of Third District Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) are invited to meet with a representative of his office at mobile offices throughout the month of October in Geneva, Pawnee City, Tecumseh, Beatrice, and Bartlett.

At mobile offices, Third District residents can meet with one of Smith's staff members who can assist with federal agencies, like the VA, Social Security, Medicare, USCIS, IRS, FEMA or the USDA, relay concerns about federal issues, or assist in taking advantage of the services available through his office.

A mobile office allows constituents to meet directly with Congressman Smith about federal issues and take advantage of the constituent services available through his office, such as assisting individuals with challenges they face while working with a federal agency, ordering flags flown over the U.S. Capitol, and booking tours in Washington, D.C.
