As anyone who has traveled our state can see, there is endless diversity of needs across our communities. The health care challenges, and the solutions needed to best serve them, are just as varied.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Chair of the House Committee on Natural Resources Bruce Westerman (R-AR) released the following statements after the committee’s unanimous passage of Rep. Adrian Smith’s bill (H.R. 8413) to transfer Swanson Reservoir and Red Willow Reservoir land from the Bureau of Reclamation to Hitchcock County, Nebraska, and Frontier County, Nebraska, respectively.
The historic tornadoes which pummeled the eastern and central portions of our state last week were devastating, and supporting the ongoing recovery efforts for Nebraskans remains top of mind. The Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has reported damage to homes, farm equipment and buildings, power lines, other infrastructure, vehicles, and trees across many counties in the Third District. Fortunately, despite the destruction of hundreds of homes, no Nebraskans lost their lives.
Washington, D.C. - Today, the office of Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) announced the process for Third District communities and public entities to apply for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Community Project Funding (CPF). Applications must be submitted by 1:00 PM CDT/12:00 PM MDT on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
FY25 funding is limited and not all eligible requests will be funded.
