Today, Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) voted in favor or H.R. 1911, the Smarter Solutions for Students Act, which prevents interest rates from doubling on millions of student loans on July 1, 2013.

During a recent visit to Wilber-Clatonia High School, I was approached by a number of students and staff regarding new school menu requirements. The new rules, while well-intentioned, are leaving many students hungry and squeezing already limited school budgets.
Washington, DC – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) will host his annual Academy Day event on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Grand Island Army Aviation Support Center. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm and will feature representatives from each U.S. Service Academy and various ROTC programs.
