Smith Announces Community Project Funding Process for Fiscal Year 2024
Washington, D.C. - Today, the office of Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) announced the process for Third District communities and public entities to apply for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Community Project Funding (CPF). Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM MDT on Friday, March 17, 2023.
FY24 funding is limited and not all eligible requests will be funded.
In order to be considered for funding, CPF applications must meet criteria established by the House Appropriations Committee. Projects must have a clear federal nexus as part of a legislatively authorized program, may not be directed to for-profit entities, and may not be commemorative in nature. Projects receiving funding may be subject to audit by the Government Accountability Office.
