This week, thousands came to Washington to participate in the 51st annual March for Life and celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Day. Sanctity of Human Life Day was first recognized in 1984 by President Reagan, marking the 11th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade decision and commemorating the right to life for the unborn.

This legislation aims to restore accountability for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) through commonsense guardrails.
Washington, D.C. ––Today, Reps. Adrian Smith (R-NE), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), and Jill Tokuda (D-HI) introduced the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Burden Reduction Act. This legislation would modernize RHC regulations to ensure RHCs can effectively treat patients.

Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) introduced the Home Dialysis Risk Prevention Act, legislation to ensure patients with kidney disease undergoing home dialysis have access to devices to notify patients and caregivers of venous needle dislodgement (VND). VND is a preventable complication that can lead to kidney injury or death.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Reps. Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Katie Porter (D-CA) reintroduced the bipartisan Homecare for Seniors Act. The Homecare for Seniors Act would allow seniors to utilize Health Savings Account (HSAs) for homecare services including meal preparation, bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, continence, and medication adherence.
