Today, U.S. Senators Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) and Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) and Representative Adrian Smith (NE-03) led a letter to U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao voicing concerns about the department’s plan to terminate the Essential Air Service program in Nebraska communities.

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-IA) reintroduced legislation today to broaden fuel choices for retailers and consumers by expanding the existing waiver of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations related to the Reid Vapor Pressure of motor vehicle fuel, which E10 received in 1990, to include E15.

At a recent Nebraska Breakfast in Washington, D.C., I commented on Nebraskans’ frustration over the frequency of flight cancellations at local airports. Looking across the room, I saw many heads nod enthusiastically in agreement.
