Smith Statement on Passing of Howard Hawks

Washington, D.C. – Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), released the following statement after the passing of former member of the Nebraska Board of Regents and businessman Howard Hawks.

"Howard Hawks provided many decades of leadership in the Nebraska business sector, the university system, and broader community. In a great American success story, he co-founded and built one of the nation’s most successful companies and worked tirelessly to give back to the community in countless ways. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity in business, determination to better the lives of others, and dedication to growth in our state. I offer my sincere condolences to the entire Hawks family."
