Smith Offers Pocket Constitutions to Third District Residents
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) today announced – in celebration of Constitution Week which will take place September 17-23, 2011 – he would continue providing free pocket copies of the Constitution of the United States and the Declaration of Independence to residents of the Third District of Nebraska.
“The U.S. Constitution remains the unchanged foundation for our government and a beacon of hope for the world. The freedoms put forth in this document have given us strength to overcome difficult circumstances for more than 200 years – from World Wars to economic depressions,” Smith said. “I’m pleased to once again offer pocket-sized copies of the Constitution, and I encourage anyone who wants to know for what America stands to contact me for their copy.”
