Smith To Hold Senior Seminar Thursday

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) will be hosting a Senior Seminar on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) at the North Platte Senior Center (901 East 10th Street) in North Platte, NE. The seminar will provide important information on the Medicare open enrollment period which runs through December 7th.

“Maneuvering through all of the conflicting information and red tape can be confusing and frustrating,” said Smith. “I want to make sure Nebraska seniors have access to the best information available. Thursday’s seminar will offer the resources to enable constituents to make informed decisions concerning healthcare and other issues of concern to seniors and their families.”

The seminar will offer presentations from the Social Security Administration, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, and the Nebraska Senior Health Insurance Information Program.
