Smith Congratulates Kearney All-Stars Ahead of Little League World Series

Washington, DC – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) issued the following statement congratulating the Kearney Little League All-Stars ahead of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The team is the first from Nebraska to ever qualify for the Little League World Series. They will play the Southeast champions from Goodlettsville, Tennessee on Thursday, August 16, 2012.

“I join all Nebraskans in congratulating the Kearney All-Stars on becoming the first team from our state to qualify for the Little League World Series. I am proud of the team’s accomplishments so far and I know they will represent us well in Williamsport. I wish the players and coaches the best of luck and success throughout the series.”
