Smith Announces 2015 ‘Angels in Adoption’ Honorees

August 5, 2015

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) announced today Aaron and Kerri Bly of Kenesaw will be honored with the 2015 Angels in Adoption Award for Nebraska’s Third District.

“Not only have Aaron and Kerri Bly opened their home and their hearts to five adopted children, but they have also devoted their lives to supporting other adoptive and foster families,” Smith said. “When their first adopted son was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, Aaron and Kerri started the Kids & Dreams Foundation to provide support to children of all ages and their families dealing with the challenges of autism. I am honored to select the Bly family as the 2015 Angels in Adoption Award recipients for Nebraska’s Third District, a title they truly deserve.”

The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s Angels in Adoption initiative provides Members of Congress the opportunity to honor an individual or entity from their district which has made an extraordinary contribution on behalf of children in need of homes.
