Nebraska Delegation Announces 80th Anniversary Nebraska Breakfast Schedule

Washington, D.C. – Today, the Nebraska delegation announced the 2023 dates for the Nebraska Breakfast.

Senators Deb Fischer and Pete Ricketts, along with Reps. Mike Flood (NE-01), Don Bacon (NE-02), and Adrian Smith (NE-03) released the following statement:

“We are delighted to announce the 2023 Nebraska Breakfast dates. The Nebraska Breakfast is a special, time-honored tradition that provides our constituents the opportunity to visit the Capitol building and meet with their members of Congress. This year is especially notable as we mark 80 years, and we look forward to welcoming Nebraskans to Washington.”

The Nebraska Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. in the Kennedy Caucus Room (SR-325) in the Russell Senate Office Building unless noted below on the following dates:

  • March 29, 2023
    • Please note the March 29th Nebraska Breakfast will be held in the Rules Events Room (SD-G50) of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The Nebraska Breakfast was started in 1943 by Senator Hugh Butler. It is the oldest ongoing gathering of its kind on Capitol Hill. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Nebraska Breakfast, and this year’s host is Rep. Adrian Smith (NE-03). Each year the delegation alternates member office hosts. Complimentary coffee service will be available.
