Adrian Smith (R-NE) led 20 House Republicans in sending a letter urging President Donald Trump to address Japan's Mobile Software Competition Act (MSCA) during his visit to Japan. The MSCA targets American digital companies through unfair regulatory barriers which hamper innovation and threaten productivity.

A Gering native whose family has called Nebraska home for six generations, Congressman Adrian Smith was first introduced to politics by his grandfather. Adrian’s his first encounter with government regulations was when he was a child running a snow cone stand, and he realized at a young age what overly restrictive government policies can do to American businesses.
