Nebraska Breakfast

Every Wednesday morning while both the Senate and House of Representatives are in session, Nebraskans visiting Washington, D.C., are invited to meet with the entire Nebraska Delegation.  The Nebraska Breakfast, as it is called, is a nearly 70-year-old tradition begun by Senator Hugh Butler in 1943.

Breakfasts begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time and are held at the Senate Buffet in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, First Street and Constitution Ave., NE, Washington D.C.
